Question ordering from US

I was wondering if anyone here has ordered from the U.S. I want to get some rims and tires and thought that the U.S. is cheaper because of our dollar. does anybody know how much tax I should expect to pay? thanks

I'm going to order wheels and tires form wheelstudio.com and have them shipped free to buffalo, then i'll drive down there and put them on. I'm taking a friend with his car so he can bring my stock rims back with him he'll say he bought them used for $300. what and evil plan ha.

last time i bought tires from Tirerack. UPS charged me about 25-30% tax and brokage duties
roughly the same rates for all other parts i got from the states.

RIP OFF!!

Theres a place in Milton that I'm waiting on. The owner is taking month vacation till march and then I'll be calling him for some pricing. he says that he orders directly from tire rack and has a special relationship with them and could get rims and tires from them cheaper. He is cash only and probably would forget the sales tax.

I also have a cf front bumper and side's from liquid body kits they since have gone out of business and they could not get me the rear add ons and the nismo wing, so I'm stuck looking elsewhere to complete the kit. I think extreme dimensions has the same cf pattern and was looking to order from them.
