Default Watermarks/residues inside headlights

i'm having this problem on my 2003 350Z front headlight. this is really bothering me, looks so bad with the HID is ON. and now is creating a firm.

I went to the dealer, and they say is normal, he printed out the bulletin and showed me. it stated "condensations are normal", i told them condensations are normal, but it did not state that watermarks /residues that stay inside the headlight is normal. after almost an hour of conversation, he told me striaght up, no matter what i won't replace it!!

i'm so disappointed... so i want to know if anyone had this problem and got it replaced, and how many ppl didn't. and if there is a way to clean those stuff out. or is there a way of to make the dealer replace for me.

hope you guys can give me some feedbacks. thank you!

Jackie

if u can't get a dealership to do it... you can open up the headlight and clean it up ur self..
here are instructions on how to open it up..

I have the exact same issue myself.

The Nissan service manager even said that it was the worst example that he's ever seen but the Nissan TSB indicated there has to be actual droplets in the headlights before replacing it. WTF ?!?!

Honestly, the headlights looks like garbage. For a $50K + car, that's pretty brutal (combined with a couple other things they refused to replace under warranty).

I asked the manager how does that encourage me to but a Murano/FX35 for my wife (which I was in the market for) when I'm treated by Nissan this way? He said the Infiniti will offer better service.

Nissan's loss. I went out and bought a 2006 Honda Pilot instead. They saved $500 on headlights but lost out in a $40K + sale. Go figure.
