Yeah, I don't see any reason why they would take it out. Of course, they'll need to support it from the bottom. But no need to take it out.

WOW! That's fast... I took mine out today for the first time since mid-December. The streets were dry. I'm telling you, with these cool temperatures, the turbos really want to tear up the tires to shreads, spinning all third and some of fourth gear. Insane, I just can't imagine what 550+hp would be like...

You're replacing your axles too? There is no real need to do that before you reach 600+hp... I think you're clutch will let go before your axles.

I will be doing a lot of drag racing this summer (tack not street) and I don't want to break axles and have to get a tow. many people have have snaped axles under 450hp it makes sense to do it all when the car is there. it will save me time and hassle later on, its just added peace of mind.

I bought a second long block to re-build, then installed the turbo kit to it, they we are just swaping motors. Old (stock) for new (forged internals). The used block cost 800 from a nissan dealer it was an 06 >7000kms (warranteed-spun bearing). This saves a lot of time. If I were to build my stock motor I would have to it pull buid it and leave the car wthout a motor until complete. The towing charges alone would have been more than $800. This way is faster and I am trying to sell my stock motor.

I ran into this problem before with other cars, well you have to go to a dirty e-test place and give some guy $200 cash and your vin# and you get a pass!

I just moved to bc from Alberta and we didnt have emission back there. I just assumed that they can't be bought lol. So your saying that its private places that do e-test for you not govn run places. SWEET. have you done this urself? or no anyone that has.

Also if you ever decide to drive up to beautiful british columbia .... lol Please let me know so I can get a ride in ur car.

Yes there are places that will pass e-test for you without a problem. My friend did for his AE86. Just give VIN # and $200 cash, pass with flying colors.

But for Z's, they're under the new emission law which the interval for e-test is extended as opposed to older cars which is every year or two.
