Just curious, after u install any clear bra..do you wax your car like usual? since the wax applied on the bra but not the paint itself. So I am not sure how it works.

RZUA5 - Yes, after the clear bra install, you can wash and wax your vehicle as you normally would. Treat it as you would your factory paint.

NOODLEMAN - I don't quite understand your claim that the Lifetime warranty doesn't exist, it's highlighted on the company homepage "http://www.ventureshield.com/". And speaking from experience, the VentureShield is a far superior film to the 3M.

You can look forward to a write up on a VentureShield install I'll be performing for a G35driver.com member next week. I won't be doing the write up, so it will be an unbiased review with detailed pictures. I think that might help some of you in your film selection. If anyone is interested, I think there will be an opportunity for my350z.com members to drop by and check it out for themselves. It will be in Kitchener, ON on Saturday, the 10th of March. Let me know.

i'm not exactly trying to discredit VentureShield, but what i meant was the link they put on their main page for the Lifetime Warranty is broken (http://www.ventureshield.com/pdf/Lifetime%20Warranty1.pdf ). There's nothing on the site that details what is covered in the lifetime warranty (at least none that i could find).

Hi marco,

Could you please provide us with documentation that outlines the specific details with regards to the lifetime warranty?
Have you had experience with 3M?
Did you ever have to replace a 3M job with a re-clear of venture, specifically for any users on our forum?
Please advise.

Cheers,

R

Reality350 - Try this link for more information on the Lifetime Warranty:
http://www.invisiblepatterns.com/pdf...meWarranty.pdf
It's through another site, and seems to work for me, so hopefully it works for everyone else.

As far as 3M, yes, I do have experience installing the 3M also. We currently offer 3M Paint Protection Film as well as the VentureShield. However, I have not yet replaced a customers 3M tape with VentureShield. I did however post a link to someone who did exactly that to his Porsche 997. I've heard someone make mention of an installer who has half of his hood covered in 3M and the other half covered in VentureShield to show the difference, but I haven't found any pictures of this. If anyone knows where I can find pics, let me know, it would be neat to see.

Marco

Hey Church, Fill those rock chips in and get clearbra ASAP! Don't end up like me...

If you're tracking this year, more of a reason since nearly half of my rock chips is
probably from that... even got some on my roof, door, quarter panels, and fenders. Who knows when I'll start having it on my hatch and rear bumper.

All is lost for me already

Quick Update:

I've gotten a few emails from individual members who are interested in this Group Buy, but with the warm driving weather already here, are wondering when it is going to happen. So, although I provided Steve "Sheck4" with a competitive quote for this Group Buy based on a minimum of 12 people being interested, I would like to extend my offer to members on an individual basis. So, if your interested in Paint Protection Film(Clear Bra), based on Steve's initial post, I would be happy to honor the 12 person quoted price, no matter the number of people intersted. I hope this works for everyone Just make sure to mention your from www.my350z.com.

Steve, I hope this is cool with you. If there's an issue, just let me know.

Marco

Ok, here is the scoop..
I know many of us here would like to get this done, but timing is a huge issue.

How about we start this list, then hash out the dates that would be suitable for the majority. I am currently communicating with Marco to get a GB going, I am sure he would be willing to setup a wicked price for an install weekend, as long as we had enough ppl.

Now given that it takes at least a few hours per car, we would need to set the appt in stone and have the participants ready to go on the dates scheduled.

So here are the ppl I have so far..
1. Sheck4 ZR
2. Father in laws Porsche
3. Friends Porsche
4. Reality350
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.
12.

I know others have expressed interest but I will leave it up to each individual to add themselves to this list.

If anyone has a tentative date they would like please post in this thread so others may discuss.

Cheers,

Default New GB pricing...

Hi All,

So here are the ppl I have so far..
1. Sheck4 ZR
2. Father in laws Porsche
3. Friends Porsche
4. Reality350
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

We need to get at least 10 ppl to get the GB pricing that I discussed with Marco. I will post the price as soon as it is confirmed. In the meanwhile, please post your name on the list if you are interested.

Remember that a date has not yet been figured out so please post any thoughts or recommendations.

Thanks,
