Question Clear Bra: Group Buy?

Hey Folks
I know everyone is excited about getting out this spring, and I know there are a few of us that 'need' to get a clear bra.

So, trying to get some #'s, who would be in for a group buy for a deal on a
3M clear bra install here in Toronto and area ?

do they do custom bumpers? I'm getting a full bumper in may, and i'll most likely put one on once the paint cures.

Default Prices and coverage

Ok guys, good to see we are getting some good responses.

A couple of vendors have already contacted me, I am asking for them to send some details on pricing, coverage and film.

I would like to get the following.

Bumper, front of qrtr panels, lights and lower 3rd of hood.

What are you guys looking for so we can get some accurate quotes?

Hey Church, fill in those small chips and cover before its too late, you can see chips in the black paint from a mile !!
Dont worry, I have some of those as well....

Steve

You guys might want to consider VentureShield rather than 3M film. While 3M has been around the longest, VentureShield is a much clearer film than the 3M, which is manufactured with orangepeel in it to cover up imperfections in the paint and during installation. Furthermore, the VentureShield offers a Lifetime warranty vs. a 5 year from 3M.

Here's a couple links:

Hope this helps...

heh, looks like you're just taking random pictures of cars haha.

reading those links you posted it seems like this VentureShield thing is getting mixed reviews. There seems to also be different grades of 3M clearbra films...

Default VentureShield

Well guys
Did a little research on the new product Venture shield, and it seems to be a very good product, claimed to be stronger than the 3M, no orange peel and comes with a lifetime warrenty.

Marco, thanks for the pics.

Going to get quotes for both, but who would be interested in this product over the 3M ?

Looks like we have about 9 guys already, Im sure if we get a dozen or so, we should be able to swing a sweet deal.

haha, i just went on the VentureShield site, the Lifetime Warrenty pdf isn't there :P and the "idenpendent" tests are a joke. They put the flash on all the 3m tests to make the damage more visible while keeping their samples nice and dark so it looks like there's little to no damage

I guess that is to be expected when they're trying to sell their stuff. But it does stirke my confidence on their product down.
