Hi there,
Give us a ring and we'll be able to help. Been servicing and modifying Z's since 1992 exclusively! We are a relatively small set-up and always booked heavily - Mississuaga location. Dealers for JWT,Stillen,Z1 and of course we carry our own line-up of parts.
We will try and accomodate you accordingly. Both my brother and I are Licensed techs and my brother is an ex-Nissan mechanic.
Check out our web-site for more info.

I'm not trying to burst your bubble or anything, just trying to warn you to be careful and make sure you check and double check their work. Take tons of pictures so that you have some ammunition when you start having problems.
Good luck.

Oh boy, don't even get me started. I could tell you so many stories but I'm not trying to put anybody down I just want to warn others so that they don't go through the same crap that I did.
I hope that you have good luck with the work they have done. 2 things;
1. Don't let them tune your car or the guy that they usually recommend. He didn't do anywhere near the numbers I was told he could get so I got AAM to retune it again at my expense of course and I finally got numbers that I was satisfied with.
2. Don't use the dyno shop that they recommend, (if it's the same one by their old shop on Nantucket. His numbers are usually terrible and I've used him more than once and it's always the same result.
You mentioned in another post that you could get 400+ whp with only 6lbs of boost. Are you insaine? There is no way that that is true. Who told you that, KHF probably.
Another question is why, after getting a built motor are you only getting 500 whp? You should be able to get so much more. I am getting 420+ on a stock motor at 9psi and have been for 2 years now after AAM re-tuned my car.
I think it is awesome that you've taken the time and money to build you motor the right way, I just question the shop that you used and also the final results. I wish you all the luck and hopefully you won't have any issues.

Well, I don't think its safe to boost a stock motor that was not built for it, and I would not feel safe running it, I would feel like I'm driving a ticking time bomb. I wanted make 500hp (reliably) because that’s all I want, sure the motor can take more, but really any more is not necessary for my needs, plus its built to be able to make more, anytime down the road. I think a 260+WHP increase in power will take some time to get used to anyway. 244stock
If you had a problem with the dyno shop or tune you should have taken it up with them, or used a different dyno.
Seems like your questioning the dyno and tuner not my shop.
Plus I don't think I meant 6psi will make 400hp, I think I was questioning that...but hey you looked it up.
I found what I said
"I don't think 6 psi will make 400 but hey maybe.
Ya its not cheap but I took the road of getting the best possible parts and having peace of mind for years to come.

You can believe whatever you want about who or what I am questioning, but in the end that shop is bad news.
What I meant was is that you boast about making 500whp but if your car was built right it should be able to produce so much more. Most guys in this forum and others will push their cars at the dyno just to see how much hp their cars can make, then they turn the boost down when they drive normal. If you spent all that money and time on your engine aren't you the least bit interested in what your engine can do?
Anyway, good luck with everything and I won't say anything more about KHF because I don't want to start an online battle, I just wanted to warn you and others. I'm sure, in time that you will be on here sometime in the future saying similar things about "your shop".
Later!

Did you take your car down to AAM to have them tune it? That is in the US right?

As far as you are concerned clem whatever you can kiss my @@s. It sounds like you're the one that doesn't have a clue.
Thats funny, gramps!! Just like I thought there is always two sides to the story which you did not mention. I'll save you the embracement and not mention it here, but they have been more than good to you, in helping you without with your misfortunes.
welcome back to grade school, whatever bad thing you say to me I can say it right back,,,,boo hoo yaaaa..

I guess I am a "gramps" compared to your maturity level. That's why I didn't tell you particulars about the problems I've had with them because I was sure that you would just go running back to them to hear their lame side of the story. Bottom line is that the shop should take care of their customers properly and they didn't even come close, so believe what you want. Why do you believe that I would be this upset with them if they did nothing wrong. Grow up! This is not supposed to be a personal battle between us just a warning about how I was treated there, unless of course you have personal ties with the shop which would explain why you are defending them.
Don't bother replying to this for my sake because I'm done here and I won't be responding anymore.
Good luck with your car and try next time to listen to a fellow car owner who has other people's best interests at heart instead of a shop that just wants your cash.
Everyone else who wants to listen, beware of that shop.
