Default No front license plate?

I've seen many 350Z without front license plate these days...

Isn't it $110 fine if you got cought by policeman?
What's the chance of pull-over? If it's not really frequant than I want to do that too!! 350z looks 200% better without it

I think it really depends on how lucky you are. My friend doesn't put his on but he has gotten two tickets for it; and now he puts it in the window. If you ever go through a RIDE program or seat belt stop they will get you for sure.

I've been stopped twice. First time a warning (RIDE check... probably couldn't be bothered with it), second time a ticket.

I'm budgeting around three tickets per year before I take some kind of "plate mounting" action... $10 a month to maintain the look... no prob

Cheers!

Yeah.. $10 for maintaining the look is not that bad.

What about insurance stuff?

I know it's 0 point ticket but somebody said it will be logged on my driving record and insurance rate will go up.
Is this true?

If not, I will take it off right away

From my police days (long ago), it's a non "moving violation" ticket. Equipment tickets don't do anything to your insurance.
