Hi folks,
I am in the process of selling my car so that I can acquire a Z. I am a little curious to know if any of you have experienced any of the reknowned problems that have been posted.
I am holding off for an '04 in hopes of not running into to many issues. Any direction provided would be greatly appreciated.

I bought my 350Z 5 month ago. Since then, No gear grinding, no tire feathering, no squeaking and rattling. Just windows got oil streak and 2nd gear is little notchy. It's pretty bothersome but I can live with that.

Regarding BOSE, I replaced it with aftermarket systme long time ago, so I don't quite remember how bad it was.

Buying 04' would be good idea for many reason if you can really wait. But '04 will be out in September and long-endless winter will be awaiting you

Mine arrived November 2002, and is in the 6100 vin range. I have had no feathering, no window streaks, no grinding, no pulling to the right, never had Bose, no rattles or squeaks, no porpoising, bouncing, etc.

The ONLY thing I have is the driver's seat movement (but it is slight).

No regrets whatsoever with buying in the first year of production.

Thanks for the feed back. I am concerned with all the issues I have been reading about and am not familiar with Nissan products. The closest dealer to me is 50 minutes away. I just know I really love the way the Z looks and love the one I test drove. Just a bit worried because I would hate to run into problems and then have to deal with getting the car to the dealer in hopes of having them rectify the issue(s).
