^Prices were alot different last year... Ask 2thpwr how much he paid for his hks, you will be surprised how much things have changed..

Honestly, your better off ordering it from a forum vendor.. You can take advantage of our strong $

It's not the tax, it's their "paperwork" fee's and any crap they can find an excuse to charge you on because they know you have no other choice than to pay it. Just look at the summary of my last purchase:

Brakes & Rotors: $425
UPS Shipping: $63
UPS "paperwork and duty fees": $150

I spent 50% of the products value just to get it to my door.

Ask vendors to use USPS. They're pretty fair.

I dont think it would be that high, but you'd be probably looking at something near $300.

If you ship to somewhere near the border like someone else posted, you'd just pay normal tax when you cross back. Unless you find a place to install your exhaust in Buffalo and leave your old one behind.

I wouldn't bother trying to cross the border without declaring the exhaust. Border patrol would be happier to find something to tax you on then to find a dead body in your car.

Or you could Make a fake fs thread, say its used, and mark the price down.
Sounds ghetto lol, but if your spending a couple K on wheels it could be worth it

I got my HKS from Z1performance in a group buy for 1200 US. By the time all the fees, exchange, and taxes were applied it was closeto $2000, maybe $1900.
JRP in Toronto wanted $2500 tax in, so it was a killer deal.

OMG, just noticed his selling price of $1500. If a Canadian can pick it up, that's a great deal. Americans, not so much.

Ahh to live in the US, land of cheap cars and cheap parts.

My HKS was 1800 +tax last spring from JRP. Now the dollar is at par or better I would expect to have only paid about 1600+ tax. NEW but prices have dropped in general so maybe even less now.

I agree, but that doesnt meen that the vendors in canada will change there prices because they are all (custeeeeezzzzzzzzz) and they are money hungry so they will try to eat as much as posible.
