Default Mad props to TSC!

http://toronto-subaru-club.com/forum...d.php?t=101392

They had a meeting with Donna Cansfield, the Transportation minister to discuss about the recent laws that has passed. The first 6 pages are talking about questions and concerns about the law. Starting from page 7 is where the details of the meeting is discussed.

I applaud the member who met up with Donna Cansfield and help make a difference in the tuner community. I think this is a good sign that there won't be too much bias on modified cars as street racers. I feel safe driving again!

However, I still recommend you guys to becareful during spirited runs

Was a slight relieve but i'm still worried about this whole street racing thing. Although the police will have guidelines to what constitutes a street race - wonder how they will have evidence to back up their claims if someone is indeed racing.

Are ontario police cars equipped with cameras on their dash? Because if they aren't theres no way they would have evidence except through their words and their partners if they have one.

I still believe that although they will provide police with guidelines...what is stopping the police from saying yes they did use the guidelines to pull you over when the guidelines we're ignored.

It'll depend on if they have the evidence to show to you - because no one would want to pay for the car impounding costs only to find out later that the police didn't have enough evidence to completey book you for street racing - will the government repay you back or just shaft you?

I hope the government post these guidelines up

Helmets are illegal for street driving. Gloves won't mean ****, plenty of people wear gloves in the winter, all about styles and designs.

and No, I didn't get it back...
