I should not go back to med school and I should ship my car off to be built

Default Mike...

so not true. I love your set up and wheels. One of the aspects that inspired me to take the plunge on wheels myself. We'll represent SS in '08 in style.

Ps. Let's get some pizza...you come here.

I always pay duty and taxes. It's part of the deal when you ship from the states.

Just be prepared, you will rub on the rear! I have the same offset +17 all around 9.5 and 10.5, had to roll rear fender. And I had stock ride suspension at the time. P.S. the net is not always the best deal, I am the Volk distributor for Canada and can assure you that I can beat any cheap price from US or Canada, keep in mind because the dollar is so strong that Canadian shops have the same advantage when they buy in bulk also, they offer it cheaper due to the exchange, our pricing stays current everyday. Nice choice of wheels, they were my second option good luck.

I think he should be ok. Guys like "Church" are only 3 mm more positive, but are over an inch lower. I'd gladly take his wheels if he wanted something more conservative.
I ordered some GTV's from a local vendor who ordered through you (JRP). The original price was quoted as $3500, but ballooned to over $5600 when it came time to actually pay the down payment. I beleive the same price exists to this day as RiskyBiz checked with JRP before ordering from the states. $5600 is a joke considering the price that RiskyBiz is paying for this new set of wheels even after duty and taxes are factored in. I also paid for my wheels in early February 2006, I checked with JRP since you were the distributor, and did not recieve my wheels until late July 2006, after I was promised a 30 to 90 day delivery period, by both you and my local vendor. I called you for size and offset advice in October 2005, and got none, and even though price was really no object when I got my wheels, I ended up with a sizing that was slightly too conservative for my liking. When RiskyBiz ordered his wheels from Status, he got extensive advice on sizes and was abole to make an informed decision.
The local vendor was Derand Motorsports of Ottawa incase you were wondering.
So I would advise anyone buying high end wheels to order from the states. You get low prices, same high qulaity product, shorter wait times, more professional service, and comprehensive advice.

I don't know why you would agree to buy those wheels if a company told you almost double the price then you go back? Your call I guess. Not going to elaborate, but if you order wheels that arn't in stock at JRP or Mackin (NA Distributor it is 60-90 days lead time we tell everyone that up front. For the record I was not contacted by anyone regarding price on wheels, I would match or beat the price as I'm a member and would like to help everyone here. I'm sure Church can atest to the wheels he bought from me were better then any price in the US. I didn't make the comment above without knowledge, I have the same offset, and it will rub if you run a 275 or 285 BFG KDW in the back, maybe other tires are different?
