The Useless East Canada thread!
Yeah the site is totally screwed up. I had to click on the reply button in my USER CP to write in this space here. As for the company matched RRSP. MAx it out.

Rawr. Awesomeness, I will. I just did a little retirement calculator thing online, and it told me I'm not saving enough
I said I want to retire at 55, because **** 65. Right now, with the company matching, it works out to $87.69 bi-weekly, and the website told me it should be more like $429.xx
I cried a little. I can't do anywhere near that. How the **** are people supposed to get that kinda money?

Mike, tell me how to retire
Lets say I want to retire at 55, and kick the bucket sometime before 90. Realistically speaking, I don't want to really live past 75, but I'm not just going to kill myself if I do, so let's work with 90.
I think that if house, car and all that is paided off, I can live very comfortably with the equivalent of 50k of today's dollars annualy. I'm turning 23 at the end of this month, so I have 32 years to do this in. How much I needz to be putting away, and where do I stick it? (clearly in the pooper, but I'm not sure about the rate of return with that one)

it's been like this all day which gets annoying since i'm trying to surf the vendor classifieds section for a brake package and pages are either insanely slow to load, or require you to retry 10 billion times before it loads successfully
