Question... Dot 3 vs Dot 4 brake fluid? any difference? Im trying to bleed those brakes on that beetle again everytings new even master cylinder and still NO PRESSURE...but using DOT3, handbook suggests DOT4 only.. using the wrong one, would that prevent pressure buildup?

 

^^ i keep hearing the promo ad's on 103.5 with scott fox and it always sounds like a kiddie hangout (with the tone and way he describes it). not that i club anymore anyways, but that's always been a reason not to go if i did club.

someone please tell me my DOT question is stupid and any brake fluid will work, i dont think the different DOT fluid makes any difference in pressure buildup.
