I ran into a funny road rage dude this morning....
I am leaving my neighborhood. I come to a 2 way stop intersection intending to turn left onto the main street. Shortly after I arrive a guy arrives from the opposite direction trying to turn right.
Traffic eventually clears up and I'm like aight my turn. I leave and begin turning left. The dude lurches forward and then threatens to hit me, then falls in behind me and tailgates my *** even though I sped up to 80 in a 50 trying to give him room.
We both turn right at the next intersection then are sitting side by side at the next light. I see him giving me dirty looks and shaking his head. So I thought, ok I will take the bait on this one.
I roll down my window. Afterwards he does as well. He says "where did you learn to drive buddy?" I said "from my dad, he was cop, whats the problem?"
He yells " I HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY BACK THERE"
I said " No, I did. I arrived at the intersection first.
And he said "NO IT DOESN'T MATTER, I WAS TURNING RIGHT MORON"
And I said in a very scientific non rage way"Actually you didn't. It's a 2 way stop intersection and we approached from opposite directions. I arrived first giving me right of way. Since you were turning right and only have to pass 1 lane of traffic, if it is safe for you to go first, you may. But since it was safe for both of us to go at the same time, and I arrived first, and began moving across my lane of traffic first I have the right of way"
Then he was like "F&&* YOU!" and rolled up the window to his Saturn SUV.
Stupid fat guy with a goatee.
