I started welding that plenum for my intake manifold today, it was going GREAT, I was very happy with the welds, almost finished the thing, tomorrow I should be all done, Im excited and want to go to work lol

Oh yeah, went to Brantford Nissan today, picked their brains a little, I know the main guy in the pats, service departement his name is Rick he owns a race 72 Datsun, good guy.... anyways
I went in asking about the 06 oil problems and he said its the first hes heard, said its most likely an american thing only which I was quite surprised, he mentioned they know about the tranny problems and they've replaced hoses around the gas tank but nothing about the oil consumption problems, mind you he did mention that there arent too many 06's around soo that might be one thing.
so that kind of sucks that they have no clue

The revup consumption problem does not have borders, its a problem right across the board.
And the service manager should be aware of the recall as it was issued to all Canadian dealerships almost 24hours after it was released by NNA.
