I tested the bold and was not happy..
The device is to large... Great if you are only using it for emails and dont mind carrying around a brick..

If you are going to make the switch, have a look at the new 8900. Same features as the bold (3g), but comes with a higher res display, 3.2mp camera and a much better kb (it has pronounced keys which makes typing out emails easier)
Only drawback is that it does not come with a belt holster, instead it was packaged with the curves "wallet" type case.

I have been playing around with it for the last hour and I like it..

It gets

ed - that's why i go online before work and after work. i have very very very limited internet access at work.

rich, gps is useless. u need to have wifi in order to use it, because the maps are run off google maps. i just got a pda phone with "gps" function, to my shock, it's the most useless thing ever.

just get a fone that suits your functions. I like my fone's slideout keyboard to type email and sms's. btw, wi-fi ftmfw!!

The 8900 or Javelin, is a mix of the bold and curve.. I was not a fan of either, but this new device is perfect for my needs.

I am not sure if they are on sale yet, as I purchased mine through my firms corp rep.

You can have a look at it this weekend.. Its about time we had a Cj anyway..

wifi capable should be the standard by now, no?

at any rate, it's not a high priority right now anyways. in a way, i'd rather not have a bb since i don't want to be found outside the office
