Stuff 2TH PWR hates.

I hate it when some one comments "Darwin strikes again" in response to someone who has died in a stupid manner, or by their own negligence. I hate it because it propogates stereotypes and misunderstandings about Darwins Theory of Natural Selection. A huge part of the theory of natural selection is based on differential reproductive success. If the person is above reproductive age, or has already reproduced extensively, the comment "Darwin strikes again" does not apply. If the person has many viable offsrping, in the Darwinian sense, that person has been very successful even if they did try to race a train while walking on their hands down the tracks. People really need to increase their understanding of biology in general.

Another thing I hate....

Weather reports. The too cool "meterologist" can oftern be heard to say "temperatures are going to climb into the double digits today" or something related. I'm like wow. Am I supposed to be excited by this? Because I'm pretty sure if the true temperature were in the double digits, we'd all be dead. As everyone knows the real measure of temperature is degrees Kelvin relative to absolute zero in the Universe. If it were only going to climb to 10K today I'd be pretty effing pissed off if I had time to be pissed off before I was dead. Maybe I could go hide in the space shuttle for a while......

 

Its so good I put it on facebook... Man I can think of a million of these.... maybe I should write a book instead
