Hmm what do you guys think, does the splitter need some side reinforcement?

On the plus side I know its working, as to make it flex that much takes about 100lbs on the side. And those pics were only top of 3rd gear!

Was in the area too on the weekend, saw GT-Robs car on track on the Saturday, I had a buddy competing in the TA as well.

I was at CTMP on the Friday.

Small vid of me almost smashing 2 seagulls on exit of Turn 2 lol

Too bad I missed you! Matt was there too if you happened to catch his car. Its a little louder than mine

How did you like MIR? Have you been there before? I once hit a sparrow at TMP, was still on my car when I pulled in (some of it anyway....).

Yeah I've been to 3 of Frank Ewalds events now, I love it more and more each year. I love the changes that are being made too.

Which car is Matts? I saw a race prepped 350z that I was drooling over with a cage and massive wing. Loved it.

Shannonville was a mix of highs and lows. Managed to win Saturday but couldn't hold on Sunday. Lots of traction issues, car was really sliding around all weekend.

Heres the first of the videos. Bright and early Saturday

You going to be ready for centralia on Saturday?
I'm in a dilemma.
1) run my star specs and risk damaging them, or shortening their life markedly.
2) flip over to my hankook RS3s. They are 285s and without camber arms I'm worried about rubbing on the front fenders. Also flipping tires on rims will cost between 100 and 200 to flip them, then flip them back for the next weekend.
3) Throw my stockers on and slide around like an idiot.

To be honest the rear end is really loose on high speed corners, I think its the splitter throwing off the balance. Its not out of control, its just a lot of work to keep it sane and just doesn't feel worth it to go. I'll probably skip it, or just come out to watch (I might bike to London and hit it on the way).

We are at TMP in 3 weeks so have to figure something out. Either sway bars or a spoiler. Might also replace my 10 year old shocks lol

To add, if its really hot I wouldn't take the dunlops. I've seen a few chunk this year (on all different cars) and I would hate to see you wreak the shoulder or something on them. But if you go easy on it Im sure it would be fine. Dont push the corners and just hammer the straights to see what speeds you can hit.

You are going to skip it?!
I was thinking the same thing, don't want to screw up my cars set up.
Pretty easy to mess things up at over 200km/h

But I told a lot of people I'd go, so I might just throw on the stockers and half *** it.
Congrats on the win at Shannonville. I will check out the vids when you get full laps up.
I'm excited for GrandBend on the 24th.

The crash wasn't bad, just a little grass cutting

Im at TMP in 3 weeks and have some work to do on the car. My floor was cooking me alive on the way home last night, had to pour water on it every few mins to keep my shoes from melting.

^ haha that's so awesome.
Lizard skin was suggested to me as a "no weight" insulator.

Sorry no TMP on the 16th. Been invited to centralia airport to run there.
Grand Bend on the 24th.

Going to try some of this stuff. Whatever I don't use Ill put on my teeth for the bling factor

Just don't use anything that could absorb oil. Blow your motor, it soaks in oil, exhaust ignites it, ouch. Exact thing happened to Scott last year.

And the splitter worked a lot better this time. Only scraped it on one braking zone.

BTW its time for a new color on the wheels. Thinking either hot pink or lime green.
