Default need some help boyz

hey, a service customer comes in today to get a gas leak fixed....
-just bought from woodchester nissan used, 2004 blue GT 350z...

-we pull down the gas tank and we find hacked up gas lines, there must have been a fuel return line there before.
-also the exhaust has all new bolts, it had to be TT before.
-and the power stearing cooler has be re-located with lines that look just like the greddy TT kit.

of course warranty will not touch this car now and the customer's bill is sky rocking as I type. They need to replace the entire fuel system + labour of the tear down and rebuild.

Now How can you Help!!!

we noticed that this Z had the car has been at woodchester for some time maybe even as a demo. The gas leak was a recall notice, and the car had been there since birth, so why had they not down the recall??

I think that someone had the car as a demo, and put a S/C or TT on the car then took it off. Sold the car for way to much and even made the guy buy a warrenty that he can't use.

Thats what it looks like anyway.

Does anyone up there remember a blue 04 with forced induction. They are not that many so I'm sure someone has heard about this car.

I would like to prove that woodchester knew about the history of this car, and should be paying for this. The bill is well over a $1000 now and the guy just bought this wreck.

So if anyone has heard about this car let me know...

its pretty sad, we can't let it go cuz its not safe and the customer does not want to pay b/c he spent like 2G's on a worthless warrenty. I'm sure that the other dealership has to have known b/c all the bolts have been replaced with OEM issue, you can tell that someone helped the previous person put this wreck back together.

Sorry no ideas but I don't think I will taking my car there anymore.

You would expect the dealer to be the one place you can trust when buying a car!

Nissan should have a certified pre-owned program like others do. I am sure that is car would not be certified. Do they?

Nissan headquarters should be made aware of this as it is completely unacceptable in my opinion.

update, the owner now that he has seen under his car does not want it!!!

THE DRAMA CONTINUES

He will not pay for anything which we can understand...

Woodchester is not getting back to us, I think we should flat bed the wreck to their door step with our bill!!!

so what is nissan canada's official stance on something like this? or woodchester nissan? presumably when the client purchased the vehicle from that dealership he was promised (or at least should have looked for) a 101-point inspection report or something similar, don't used car's come with at least a 1-year bumper-to-bumper warrenty?

the thing is that this car was inspected less than 36 days ago and a leaking gas tank should have been noticed. So that means if we have to they can be charged with an unsafe sale or something. Nissan will **** when they hear about this, we have not gone to head office yet, if woodchester does nothing we will then.

LOL Woodchester. They must be broke as hell to risk their dealership reputation on one 350Z. What's their service desk phone number? Should we barrage them with calls and inquiries?
