The media could easily spin it to make us look bad.

news man " Here I am at JRP and just look at all at all these potential racers on our streets" Then highlight some previous tuner cars caught under the new racing law etc...

We need the media to support us to get more tracks, etc...

Maybe raise the speed limit like I here they are thinking of raising it to 85mph somewhere in texas. haha
No reason for that to happen at our event.

i'm trying to remember if this event last year brought the issue to the forefront of the media and to my knowledge, the answer was NO. i don't remember seeing the star, the toronto sun, or citytv covering this event or even covering the tuner's perspective towards street racing.

so is there really a point?

Thats the same thing as saying things about chemotherapy and Cancer? Why do we do it? Because it gives us hope and alows us to stand up to the disease!

Why do we do it? Because everyone always says things but nothing was done about it. Well guess what International Allstars and JRP thought that its a great idea to join forces and produce an event for JRP and Big Brothers that does something about it. So here we are second time around. I invite you to come out.

your analogy makes absolutely no sense, but i understand what you're trying to say. at the same time, i still believe that events like this will make little to no impact on public perception on street racing. my argument has nothing to do with the cause (helping groups such as the big brother/big sister program is always a good thing), but in terms of reversing the negative image of tuners, not so much imo.

I value your opinion and thank you for your input. Come check the show out if you have some time.
