It's illegal. But I know a couple of people who does... One just leaves it on the dashboard and hides it in case of getting pulled over. But he already got caught with it before. Another one is my friend who's dad hardwired it into her Santa Fe... She never got a speeding ticket or even pulled over

Just go about 10 to 15km over and you will be good.

If need the speed take it the track in the summer.

Too many accidents out there and people getting hurt or even killed.

Drive safe!

I know a few ppl using them. If you do buy, make sure to purchase two.
One very good unit, and another POS that you can give to the cops when you get pulled over for having one.

That doesnt work too well. I drove from Montreal to Toronto last year and was on a road with no lights and no traffic. Was falling asleep and didnt notice how fast i was going. I got pulled over, and let's just say my car would have been tolled if i went that fast a couple of months later.

i wouldn't bother with a radar detector... highway patrol in Ontario usually arm their patrol cars with "radar detector detectors"

... for which you then have to buy "radar detector detector detectors" if you want to be one step ahead of the patrol

it's pretty ridiculous

just drive safe like optimumarc said and if you do get caught, become friends with a good ticket fighter
