Anyone wanna help me out??
So i got my Eibach sportlines the other day and theyre sittin in my garage. I think i have a feeling that ill be able to install these on my own... ive read up some DIYs.... but heres my problem, i aint really too much of a mechanical know it all and was wonderin if anyone wants to gimme a hand doing this?... lol.. and obviously i would compensate you for your time that you assist me!... lol... i checked with a few shops and i dont wanna spend $200 and take it somewhere when i can do it on my own with someones help..
ill provide all the tools required.. and ill give someone $100 if we can do this.. obviously one of you guys who have done it before.
Anywayz.. just a thought.. i really wanna put these on.. but too cheap to throw out $200 in labour!

hopefully someone will come through for you? but in most cases you got to pay to play, realize after some time when the springs settle you'll also need to fork over some money for a good alignment.

Where are you located? Are you in a rush to get these put on?
As mentioned above, you will need an alignment shortly after.
Doing springs is a fairly easy install all you need is the torque specs (download the shop manual) specialty tools needed are torque wrench and spring compressor.

yea, i dont mind that... i know i need an alignment after but i cant really justify spending around $300 all together including labour to put them on AND the alignment... its not too hard to do and wud rather try and save some cash.

so you'd spend $100 to risk hurting yourself to save yourself another $100....when you said you're not confident in your own mechanical skills...
give SpeedStar a call, they isntalled my springs for less than $200 iirc.

To bad I don't live closer man otherwise I'd hang out and do it for a few beers.
I did mine myself with a borrowed spring compressor and it took a few hours but I didn't find it hard at all and I've never done anything too tricky before.
It would still have been nice to have someone there to instruct though. I had to keep running into the house and checking online.
That alignment is critical

Are you guys serious? Spring installations are so easy. Have most of you even tried do to something like that? It's not as hard or as life threatening as some of you make it out to be. Just take your time and use the spring compressor as an added precaution and you'll be fine. Just use common sense when it comes to safety.
