Default Installed Cobb Access port

mine came in today and just got it installed. Im planning on doing a dyno of before and after maybe. Anyone interested in dynoing there car? maybe we can get a group together ??

The car seems to be pulling harder on the top end. I havent really pushed it yet because of the weather and the amount of traffic. Maybe tomorrow ill pull it alittle harder on the highway but the car seems to have more power after 3500 rpm.

My mods are intake, plenum 5/16" spacer and MREV2, UR HFC, nismo Y pipe and amuse catback.

around what time? best would be after 4pm on weekdays. and how much is the cost?

Im heading to the track tomorrow so I can futher test out the performance of this thing with the flash and without the flash.

If anyone is interested in testing it out in Richmond Hill area i can uninstall it then try it out on your car and see the difference. Doesnt looks like its alot of trouble.

The manual says you can uninstall it first THEN install it to another car.

I just read up on the intake part. I'll bring my stock intake out to the track tomorrow and see if there's any noticable difference.

I heard it's 1 access port for 1 car-that somehow the port remembers which car you flashed? Can you flash different cars with 1 access port?

i scanned the manual and if i remember correctly it says, you can uninstall it from your car and install it to another car. The accessport has the uninstall option on it so i assume you would be able to do that. It probably saves your car ECU code onto itself when you flash or do anything to it. So if you connect it to another car without uninstalling it , it won't run because of the different code.

Im just guessing, but once i head home, ill look at the manual and get you guys updated !

Quote from Cobb Access Port manual

" Please note that the Accessport is designed to work with only one vehicle at a time. Once the Accessport is installed, it cannot be used with another vehicle until it is uninstalled from the original vehicle."

uninstalling it from the car...does that mean it removes the map?

EDIT: n/m...your guess sounds good.

So i went on the track on sat and sun. I did a couple of laps with and without the reflash. The reflash helped the topend a bit. 2nd gear was quicker all around , 3rd gear pulled till the end. My rear end wiggled more with the reflash. lol . This wasnt like my motodyne upgrade where it brought smile to my face but it feels like its one of the better upgrade for NA. I forgot to switch back to the stock intake, but as i said i will be going for a dyno next week with church and rich so that should reveal alot.

install was easy, my little cousin who is 10 years old could probably do it lol.
I got it frmo Z1auto.
