Nice car, dangerous request. Whats wrong with the stock wheels? I think they suit the car well. Paint them black or do something creative to the stockies that will certainly catch attention, however asking someone to borrow volks or works wow.. Thats like asking for a 5000 loan. Best of luck on your request though.

Any business deal can be done. All it takes is money. If the OP were to offer up 6000 cash for the wheels for the weekend, and upon safe return of the wheels 5500 of the cash would be returned this deal would be done already.
However, he is doing he opposite of this.

lol .. $6000 cash deposit, $500 rental fee, definitely an interesting business concept maybe there's a market for rim rentals

You're exactly right , but if you can't front that much money to cover the cost and inconvenience of replacing high end wheels and tires which are so easily damaged, you shouldn't be asking strangers. Unlike a notional professional rim renting corporation I don't have insurance to cover mishaps.
