You are talking about the 3m stoneguard right?

Tintmaster (www.tintmaster.com) will do it for you. Got my tints and rust proofing done there. They are really good.

I will get my bumper and hood painted shortly and install the stoneguard.

Are you going to just do the bumper?

Make sure it's 3m though because the other lesser brands go yellow and look like total *** after a period of time. Trust me, i have removed a few of them for people a few years later and damn that stuff is hard to get off and look like total ***. 3m stays looking clear forever. Remember what the sun does to cheap plastic...

Some people do part of the hood as well. Is that recommended? If so, how far do they normally go up? Thanks!

Thanks guys for the input.
My Z actually has been traded for this.
We need something more practical.
I'll give tintmaster a call tomorrow to ask about 3M stoneguard.

Where did you stop on the hood? Can you see the line?

Mirrors done, good idea.. How much does it normally cost?

Thanks

+1 on this place. They do top notch work, I have had 3 cars done by them. Get the whole kit . Full bumper wrap, leading part of fenders and hood, and side mirrors.

That Audi is a Sweet ride by the way

How much do they charge for all that work per car?

Also, when you got the whole kit done, was it a custom job? My understanding is that for most car bumpers, those places have machines to cut the clear plastic.

They do the bumper fenders and hood, it's like a bra the whole front of the car. The guy I deal with does the mirrors and some around the rear wheels too.

I think it cost around $600+ for bumper hood etc.

They cover about the first 8 inches of the hood. You can barely see the line at all, however after a few waxes, wax can get built up there and make the line more visible, but nothing that cant be cleaned and removed. You can't even see that there is a clear bra on the bumper.

They should have pieces pre-made for our bumper. I remember when I got it done there they had to do it custom because they didn’t have precut pieces available yet for the 2006 bumper.
