International Automotive & Custom in Vaughan

30,000 sq ft shop with a drive-in dust free paint booth.

They do excellent work.

What do they charge for say... front bumper/fenders

rough estimate? Just got it :

450 per panel.

Bumper, hood, fenders (each) 450.

so that's 1800 - but they knock off one panel cost when you get 4 panels done so it works out to 1500 or so +tax

If you consider the cost of materials and labour to prep the parts $450.00 is a fair price.

not really.. how much paint is needed for a front pannel? not much, same goes for clear.. how much sanding? ehh minumal especially on a "like new car"

I could do a pannel in no time, a quick scuff, wash, and paint.. nothing.

even if a pannel takes 2 hrs.. which I cant even imagine.. thats 225 an hour !! yeah

1) their quality of work is really slipping
2) They gave away my stock parts and have refused to help me out on it so far. They only offered to repaint the crappy parts from a 2006 that they gave me.

^^ based on the quality of work i saw on mike's z after he had his shine v2 painted and installed at velocity, and his ongoing problems with his stock parts, velocity definitely is not a shop i'd recommend to anyone.

the simple fact is, they LOST or gave away mike's original stock parts. i don't care how much it'll cost them, they should be either hunting down where they sent those parts to, or replacing them with OEM replacement parts ... PERIOD.
