i used Castrol Superclean to clean it, the yellow grit was undercoating i think. Castrol Superclean is a degreaser/cleaner

link http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...romSearch=true

or I have seen it look like this

http://www.superclean.com/index.php

then I used a metal polish, I have used Blue magic, Autosol and Maguire’s metal polish, all work about the same.

Blue magic http://bluemagicusa.com/index.php/bl...c/products/210

ect ect

hope that helps

ive been really busy lately and not had a chance to post an update on my car so here it is. Ive bought a few new things this year, some of you may have seen my body kit thread.

When I bought my car the windows were already tint, the fronts were around 35% and the rears 20%. But I didn’t find the front dark enough and they were tinted using a metalized or titanium style tint. This tint is a very good tint but had a greenish goldish look to it. I didn’t like way it looked against blue so I wanted to get it re tinted.

Here is what the old tint looked like.

After I removed the old tint.

After the new tint, 18% front, 18% rear. I was going to go with a 5% rear but the 350 is hard enough to back up as it is lol.

no not yet, the insurance in on but the car is on jack stands right now. I am swaping the headlights, i just found out the plastic cap behind the headlight is smaller on the 06-08 and i cannot use the one from my 04. So i have to order the parts and wait untill monday or tuesday. So the cars going to be shy high until then

the blacked out headlight look is the new in thing now!!
