Default Best Place to Tint my Windows?

Hey guys, I need some info on where to tint my windows. Just need to do the two side windows on the Roadster. Looking for high quality, and someone that I could take it to in the morning, and pick up at the end of the day.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Is it possible to match tint? Right now, the tint on my passenger side window is damaged. Unfortunately, the tint was done by the previous owner, so I don't know anything about it. I don't necessarily want to re-tint the whole car, because I wouldn't want to change darkness, I think it's the perfect shade right now. Is any place able to figure out what tint I have, and re-tint just that window?

They can use a light meter to get an idea what percentage the tint was. They may be able to match the percentage but not the colour tinge. Some tints are more green and reflective than others. Do you have the same percentage all the way around? If it is lighter at the front you could probably just re tint the front two windows. If you want to save money remove the tint your self.

Right now my car has 35% front and 18% rear tint. I don’t like it because it looks to be titanium or metal based tint. It has a lot of green reflection to it. Kind of like silver sunglasses but greenish. A few years ago that was the top of the line stuff, it reflects light and VU rays very well but I don’t like the look of it. My old car had a dyed tint, dyed tints will fade quicker and will can purple over time but I liked the look of it better. It was black looking, or black tinted looking. Mine was 7 years old and the purple colour just began to become noticeable.

My uncle just got his windows tinted by a guy that we have used or recommended 9 or 10 times. The tint on his car is a metal based (I believe) tint, it is not nearly are greenish as my tint but still to green for me. I asked the tint guy for something less green but he said that, that all of his tint from that manufacturer is greenish.

Does anyone know where I can get a black looking tint?

Hmmmm... Mine is definitely just black, no colour traces in it. I believe it is the same % all around, but I'm not absolutely certain, it may be slightly darker in the back.

i use ceramic tint from a company by the name of formula one i believe, and it's nto exactly black. but that depends more on your interior. Mine looks kinda brown in some angles cause of my orange seats, and my friend who got the exact same tint as me with a black interior looks black.

i got the alarm done in my cavalier by audioheaven, i dont know how they are for tints. I dont think anyone there does them , they must bring someone in. $160 or $200 is cheap, i paid $180 cash in 01, now my guy charges $235 because he said tint price has gone up. placed like F1 charge between $220 and $300

after all the recommendations, went by FX to get my windows tinted this week.
generally a good job, but i prefer the tints to go as close to the window edges.

however, there's a huge gap on the side windows by the end.
was thinking if it was the same for everyone?

thinking about taking it back to get it re-done..
