for some reason i can't picture myself in a z06. maybe it's a racist thought in my mind where i can't picture asian guys in domestic muscle. or maybe i just love my z so much that i can't picture myself in any other sports car (even m3's, porsches, etc.).

I ain't gonna lie, I don't like vettes at all. This is why the new 1 series makes me so happy. 41K + taxes and then 2K for a Dinan Stage 2, and I can have 390hp and 421tq. With full 5 yr, 50k mile warranty. And the best part is, I don't have to get a Vette. It is no longer the best bang for the buck. 1 Series > C6

They're not the prettiest things on 4 wheels, but nothing beats the satisfaction of not owning a domestic
Everytime I see one of those tools with a "Out of a job yet? Keep buying foreign" I honk, smile and wave. If you're poor and bitter, don't try to take it out on others, or people that aren't will rub it in that they drive a much better car than you.

Get a 370Z when they come out. I am sure it will look awesome. I love how guys are saying it doesn't look good when all they have seen is rendered shots from Magazines.

Do you want a modder or stocker?
I had bikes, and roadraced for a while quite successfully too. Went back to a roadster for something different.
If I had that money and didn't want a house upgrade (my next purchase) I'd either go with a c6 vette out of the US since they are crazy cheap, or buy a local pontiac solstice base model which is dirt cheap. Then take the solstice down to the US and get a shiny new LS3 6speed dropped in. Mmmmm.

Well I replaced the Z today with a 2007 C6 with 8000 kms on it. All I can say is "Daaaaaaym this thing is fast" and it's actually a comfortable ride. the good part is it was only $8000 more than I sold the Z for.
Well I think I'll go out to the garage and do my first coat of wax
