Default Grounding the parking break wire

So I just recently got the Kenwood DDX-812 installed professionally but now I want to get the parking break wire grounded so that videos work when the car is in motion (not for me, for passengers). I pretty much know how to do it but I'm a klutz and would rather have someone else do it for me rather than me mess something up. Does any one here know how to do this or know where I can get it done? I'd pay cash obviously.

Thanks in advance.

I'm more concerned about removing the panel and getting to the wires than anything else. And I'm lazy.

i just bought a new JVC deck, i was able just to put the parking brake wire (from unti) to the body (ground) and it works all of the time. some units will nto let you do this, they have to come off of the ground then back on before they will work. Some you must press on the brake and pull the parking brake to get them to work.

i would try to ground it to the body like i did first. if it works all the time, then great. if not then you will have to put a switch between the unit and the body (ground). when you are in the car you would have to switch the ground off then on again, and leave on (on is grounded) everytime you turn the car on or off you would have to switch the switch on and off to get the deck to work all of the time. this is the case for my friends deck.

if this still does not work then you make have to put more than one switch, i dont know much about this.

hope that helps
