Default TMP (Cayuga) drag Saturday afternoon 13.5x or bust

So I just got the green light from the wife that I'm allowed out for the afternoon on Saturday. So weather permitting (looks good so far!) I'll be heading out to TMP for the test and tune and thought I'd mention it to anyone else who might be interested.

Last time I was there I ran my winter car and pulled a 13.73 at 102.4. I really hoping that my 350z can run a better time.

Here is a pic of my winter beater:

I haven't always been able to afford a winter car, or any car for that matter; I can tell you that from my public transit days. Anyhow they are actually 20's and it is a rear wheel drive, but with the OEM all seasons, they get me by.

So are you going to Cayuga?

having a winter beater like that puts you in the 'baller status' category.

13.5x or bust. That will beat my time that I ran my old SRT-4 stage 1.

Here is what I have done for weight savings:
- Spare tire - removed
- Spare hardware - removed
- Rear carpet and spare cover - removed
- Passenger seat - removed
- Stock exhaust replaced with JIC single titanium

No power adders, just weight removal. I doubt this exhaust has added any power.

spare tire might help u on launching the car (if u keep it in). the rest of the weight savings uve done probably wont do anything.

and rich..what kind of prediction is that. exact number not an average.
so hr motor. 306 hp. i say best you'll run is 13.9@101 mph but who knows u might be really good at driving ur car in a straight line lol

High 13's low 14's harsh or realistic? Who knows but we shall see. Either way it's an afternoon out. And as per driving my car in a straight line, racing with curves is far more exciting, but I've earned my stripes at the strip too over the years.

Every lb counts when it comes to the drags (I sure know combo #2 at Wendy's ain't helping me any). I'm just hoping to get a favourable DA because the rest will be up to me.

if friday's are rammed, it seems to me saturday would be worse. at least on friday you would have people who are working not being able to show up.
