Default taillights

I just installed my taillights 08 led on a 03 and my tabs that cover the screws are popping off. They dont seem to be sitting tight, like they did on my 03. Why is that.

the underside of the tabs are numbered. I think #1 is the top and #3 is the furthest back....or opposite. anyways, I believe they say L1, L2, L3 and R1, R2, R3. Try to get them on the right spot, this should work.
