I was in the same boat, ended up getting a turboXS. They apparently both sound similar.

I dunno, I went searching in the intake/exhaust forum for exhausts that sounded higher pitched and quieter, like the NISMO, and found a lot of people who said the turboxs retained that exotic sound (not bassy and deep) but was somewhat louder than the NISMO. I'd prefer it not to have the 'somewhat louder' aspect, but hey.

Its 470 shipped within the states, go to the exhaust vendor forum. I got mine used, shipped to Canada for around the same price (shipping to Canada is quite a bit more expensive)

My Quote from Z1 performance:

Price is $575 shipped to Canada (toronto). We can reduce the value for customs, but that also reduces insurance, so you would be solely responsible if its lost or damaged in anyway.

maroli i was going to ask you to come to one of the meets so i could hear the exhaust, sucks that your in ottowa though. How much did you pay at the boarder ?

I paid, or will have to pay around 50-60 bucks, as shipped by Fedex. I slipped around paying tax by having the guy state the value as 50 bucks. Its risky, but exhausts are durable, so they can be banged around a bit. The tip of one of the flanges got a little dinged and flattened, but that's not going to effect performance...mine was used though. I recommend you buy it used, you save a bunch on customs tax because they'll just think its a used OEM replacement. Sorry for thread hijack. bump.

is it very loud? It comes with removable silencers, which I don't intend on removing, so I hope its not too loud.
