I stumbled upon some bad news on the CASC forum. Dunnville is officially closed due to citizens complaining about the noise coming from the racetrack (which is located on airport land ha). Anyways, there is a good discussion on the CASC forum and lots of information. A bunch of people have emailed the mayor to complain about the recent closing of the Autodrome. The city claims that the track is too noisy, violates by-laws and is unattractive to the city's tourism. I'm pretty sure the track brings in quite a few visitors to the city and generates a lot of business for local extablishments. If it wasn't for the track I would never visit or even heard of that city, let alone spend money there. I think I might send the mayor an email as well. Looks like it's becoming more and more difficult to keep racing OFF the streets if race tracks keep closing.
