Default Video: Mosport DDT Sept 6 2009

Here is an in-car video of me in my 2004 350z Track at Mosport DDT Sept 6 2009. We ran the track CCW. Lap times approx 1:14. I don't trust my digital camera timer but oh well.

Vehicle mods: Motul RBF600, Stoptech s/s lines, Stillen Master Cylinder Brace, Satisfied GS6 pads, 245/265 Sumitomo HTRZIII tires (cheapies) on 04 track wheels, 15mm Ichiba V2 spacers F and R.

t350z is in one of the videos as well. Had a lot of fun chasing an M3 for a few laps. e46? I don't know my BMWs.

Also, there's a video of what not to do at the right hand kink on the back part of the track. 4 wheels on the gravel and not so nice gravel spray all over my car ha

Embedding isn't working so here are the links.

Thanks for sharing. It looks like you were using forth gear on the one straight, I never got higher than 3rd. You had your car working well.

thanks. i short-shifted into 4th on the front straight. I didn't feel like feathering the throttle around the left kink at 6,000rpms. That leaves a real twitchy car. But by the last session I was taking the front straight full out without lifting. I'm probably gonna hit Mosport next month with Togue. t350z you should come out again and I'll take you for a ride. I sound like a hot shot haha I'm really not. Just had a good day. I'd love to feel a 350 with suspension around a track. But that will just make me spend more money on my car ha

I thought you had to be short shifting. I've had the rev limit raised on mine so carrying 3rd into the kink wasn't too bad. I'd enjoy a ride in yours just to see what you are doing differently. I was having an off day. With new street tires, new brakes (Hawk HP Plus) and new suspension (Tien Basic) I had just put on myself a week earlier I just wasn't quite sure how the car was going to react. I was also holding back a bit just in case something was going to let go. In the end everything seemed to work fine and by the end of the day I was pushing harder. Next time I will push more. Is that Touge Day Oct 6th? If the weather is good I will be out for that one.

Next Togue day at Mosport is Oct 12. For sure it will take some time to get used to new suspension and pads as well. Your next time out should be a lot faster t350z.
That yellow M3 was fast. Not sure what work he has done to it though. He has Dunlop Direzzas on it and they blow my Sumitomos out of the water. Either way it was tons of fun.
