What a dumbass. He must have thought, "let's get out of here and tell the cops it was stolen. "

Don't mind the scratches on my head, I got those shaving my forehead.

What a waste.

The driver was stupid enough the run from the accident. It's so easy for police to find out who was driving the Z.

Well, at least the driver and passenger survived, which shows that the 3000+ pounds Z does provide good protection.

i think it really depends on the type of impact. if most of the force was concentrated on the side of the car (which has the weakest crumple zone), then i can see any car split in two even at relatively slow speeds.

Wells it says the driver struck 3 trees, had they been a more solid object, it prolly would have been split in 2 pieces.

craziness. if they keep closing down race tracks, like they just did with Dunnville, there will be more and more of these stupid accidents.

Kind of agree, although i have yet to go to the track in any car, the risk of either impounding the car and ruining my life financially, is not even worth it to open up the taps on the z.

As much as i want to accelerate the z at its potential, the moral thought in the back of my head cannot allow me to do so. Only place where i can rip my car to a certain extent is on the highway, even then i never pass 120 =(

I wish the municipal/provincial government would just get their heads together and build some kind of track in the gta, I have no clue why they havnt done it yet.

Theres plenty of space north after newmarket along the 400, why not just get their ***** together and build something. /rant done.

Did they apprehend yet? I'm rather curious.

Agree about the track aspect, although this was more probably a case of intoxication vs need for speed.

and 120 does not classify as ripping anything .
