So my current apartment has outdoor parking and my moms condo completion is delayed so no free indoorsy for this winter... I'm hoping to have her put away by the first week of november and have a beater on the road.

Basically wondering, for those of you without the amentities of either a personal heated garage or indoor condo parking / likewise... WHERE do YOU store your Z... and how much do you pay if so?

I've looked on kijiji as well as uhaul and found some decent places but they all want 100+ a month... is this reasonable? I would like monitoring and access to the Z whenever on a regluar basis (more so because I find the idea of NOT having access during moderate periods of time to be questionable).

Suggestions? Anything I should lookout for? All help greatly appreciated.

I am in mississauga/toronto... a place relatively close would be great. If anyone would like to rent space to me in their humble abode (haha) etc shoot me a pm as well!

 

$100/month with sec and access would be so worth it!.. Since your zed would only be in storage for 5 months, cost is almost nothing..

I was in a similar situation when I moved a few years ago. I found that renting from one of those public storage places, with security and daily access would have been well worth it.
Thankfully I was able to just throw my zed into my sisters garage. But I would highly recommend you going that route, instead of renting some random garage space.

 

Depending on which location you want to store your Z...for heated garage it won't be worth it as it is way too expensive to store your car for few months. I usually rent some spots on other appartment. Usually the owner will give you a remote so you can access the building..and depending location you are looking around $100-$200/mth. Just park the car there and cover it...you would be fine.

also FYI, try to choose one that is within the range of security camera...

 

man, just go on kijiji and find someone who has a condo or apt spot and rent it. I can ask at my apartment maybe. We'll have TWO zeds in there then

 

My place charges me 60 a month, you can use mine lol

 

i have an underground parking spot in markham that I won't be using. I have a contract until march. It has been paid already. If you want it, I'll charge you the remaining balance to get my money back. It's 75/month.
