Default 19x9+25 tire options

Hello all,

I have purchased 19x9 +25 wheels. The tires I should get are 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 is this the best way to go? Any inputs will be much appreciated. Thanks guys

well, a 9 inch wheel will fit anything from 235-275....but it'd look weird with 235 and slightly stretched with 275. But I think 255/275 would be your best bet. Just keep the front and rear staggered in the same proportion as stock to preserve the handling balance. 245/265 would be fine too but I think 265 is more $$ than 275.

i'm running 19x9+22 and 19x10+15 with 255/35/19 fronts and 275/35/19 rears for your reference. It's a good combo to run with. I've ran 245/275 before and i like the grip you get from 255/275 more.

your setup is likely to have no stretch at all as your rears are not as wide as mine.

whoops sorry, I meant that they'd be stretched with 235 and your rim would stick out a little with 275 not the other way round :P

PS Noodleman
Your car looks gorgeous, how do you like those RSR springs? I'm getting some next spring.

I think you mean 265/285 or 255/285.... price jump is quite large going from 255 to 265 and 275 to 285.. i'm running 255 up front and 275 and I never lose grip with spirited street driving. Noticeable increase.

lol, yeah. that's what I meant. I have 255 f 275 rear too. I was just saying, for my tires, it was more expensive to get 265 than 275s anyway. I originally planned on getting 245 f 265 r, but it worked out to be the same price for 255 f 275 r.

thx. I love my RSR springs. They don't lower too much so i can still drive my car just about everywhere, and overall feel is pretty close to stock.

Noodleman car looks great. I have attached a few pictures of the rims I got. I wanted that full face look. I have not seen any pictures of 350z with these wheels. I will need to purchase some spacers for the rear tires to match the front. I still have calculate the numbers. Thanks for all the responses guys!

My quick experiment. Wheel looks a little bigger since its closer to the camera.

you will not have VDC problems with 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 tires, i'm running that setup right now and have zero issues.

as for offset, it really depends on whether your car is dropped, and if you want to roll your fenders. You can push the rims out really far if you're planning to roll your rear fenders, but then you have to be careful about pushing them out too far that it might not match the fronts.

Although the car does tramline a hell of a lot with tires that wide. The tramlining from my 255 was a significant increase from my 225, so I imagine 275 would do it even more. I imagine the grip is ridiculous tho. Btw, I think I saw you pass by on Steeles near Woodbine a month ago or so. The car sounds insane man.
