Hey guys,

I just picked up a 2005 Anniversary Edition Z last weekend with only 28,000 km's! It's in mint condition and I am so proud to be driving a "true" sports car.

Previously I was driving a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon SE. It has now been regulated to winter beater status as I've put 161,000 KM on it in about 8 years.

I'm from Toronto, Ontario and just wanted to introduce myself to other Z owners in Canada and in the GTA.

Looking forward to meeting you guys!

As a newbie I suggest you do not post any threads that have already been answered, make sure you search for answers before you ask.

Otherwise everyone on here will flame the sh.it out of you.

Ah, I was waiting for this.

Watch make sure you check the oil levels weekly to make sure your rev up isn't burning oil, quite a large scale problem with your year(s) of developement engine wise.

-As mentioned, check your oil every 500km or less... If your consumption is as bad as mine was, you will notice immediately.

FYI- It's not a matter of "if".. its simply a matter of when it will start to consume...

Man I drive too much! got my 06 with 16,000KM in January 09 and now just 1 year later and it has 60,000KM
oh well, guess no one can ever say I never put in some quality seat time in my Z (year round too)

Fow now the engine oil level does look to be pretty stable although I will definitely keep a bottle or two in the trunk in case. Does the engine oil burn depend on how you drive the car?

 

Do you guys meet in the GTA area? I would love to meet some of the people on this forum to talk and learn more about the car!
