They are basically "designer stones" that are used for driveways, walkways, patios etc. Some stones are made to do creative designs, and some are tumbled and have a more natural look. These are an upgrade to any house that has an asphalt driveway.

Interlocking has been proven to increase the value of homes when selling.

Might shoot you a message in a couple of weeks when we take over our new house. Only concern my wife and I have with interlocking is that it begins to sag/dip over time. At least thats what we've noticed.

We wanted to go with stamped concrete but its so damn expensive. Do you have a website I can check out? and whats the company you work for?

Well, your wife is absolutely correct for having that concern. But in general, the only reason why interlock paves would sag, is because it was poorly installed. Exactly as you said.

Interlocking longevity and look is solely based upon how deep you dig, what type of base you use, and if it has been compacted properly with enough force. Any one of these instances can cause sagging or shifting of the stones. Especially on driveways!

Stamped concrete is very nice, but here are a few things to think about:
1. Very high cost
2. Cracking issues
3. High Maintenance ( Every year it needs to be kept and cleaned properly)

Let me know if you or your wife have anymore concerns or questions. You can visit our website at www.Duralock.ca
Or you can Email me at MatthewRabba@Duralock.ca

Thanks
Matthew
