The shop I now work at is having a big opener/meet at the end of the month. I planned a G sedan meet for earlier in the day and the majority of us will be heading there afterward.

I think there is around 13 sedans coming and 10 or more coupes, I'm sure some Z will fit the bill as well. All proceeds go to the food bank.

"Yes!!! Summer is Back!!

Rockstar Motorsports inc is presenting our Annual Season Opener.
Our first annual event brought out 100+ vehicles and over 200 spectators... THIS YEAR WE ARE HOPING TO DOUBLE IT!

Saturday May 29th, 2010
10am-7pm

Dj Stinkfinger & DJ Audio Therapy will be spinning the Hottest Tracks all day long.

Brass Knuckle Therapy Clothing (Official MMA, BMX, FMX and Motocross Sponsor) will be onsite selling the Hottest Summer Gear.

Twisted Intentions Stunt team will be in attendance. Showing us how CRAZY they are on their bikes!!

The Cambridge Food Bank will be presenting a charity BBQ at this event. All proceeds will go direct to help our local community.
& In addition to this Charity BBQ, we will be presenting a Charity raffle.
Many affiliates in the Automotive Industry have generously donated goods and services to this worthwhile cause.

Meh meets like that don't really appeal to me. I prefer a meet with a 2-4km long circuit, roaring engines, scrubbing tires, lap timers... you get the point . I'm not going to lie, some bikini girls would be a nice addition

 

I have come to realize there are several kinds of meets. This one is not to my personal fancy based on the description (bikini car wash? might be interesting to observe, but I wouldn't let just anyone wash my car... and frankly, from the few car models I have ever bothered to talk to, attention to detail was not a strong personality trait ) not really my cup of tea.. maybe if there's nothing else going on lol.

 

Whiners, I scratch my paint 6 times a day driving as low as I do.

Break out the spanners and lay frame.

I'm past the driving fast thing, now I'm just about relaxing.

I gotta say in all honesty that Lou is one of the baddest f'n mod guys around, he doesn't turn crap out of his shop for the sake of making $$$. The guy takes care of his customers and has always been that way. I've known Lou for ages, and never hesitated in leaving my car at his shop over the winter, and he stores my snows for me too. My mazda spent alot of time there, and never had an issue. PS. if you have his calender then April is my old car. But now its Z time for new challenges and Lou will be seeing my Zer soon too. You can trust the guy he doesn't hack, he does **** right. (honestly)
