Default Need A Few Opinions!

I realize that most of you don't like my car and call me a "ricer" which is cool and all, but I figured I'd throw this out there and see if anyone would think it looks good.

My car is going in the body shop for some work, and I was thinking about painting my trunk, roof and sides over the window Black. By no means am I a photoshop expert, but you get the idea. What you think?

Dont forget the side mirrors.

Personally, i think there is to much going on. Paint the lip kit the same colour as the body and then CF the top (or paint it black).

IMO either paint all black, or silver, or silver w cf pieces or black w pieces. To me silver and random black pars dosnt floe unless it's a kit like a v2 where you can paint the botto. Portions black and that just looks sexy

I feel like the black body parts are over powering the main colour of the car, instead of accenting them. If the lip kit was body colour, you might be able to get away with leaving the front lip black and still have a nice aggressive look. If you do decide to go 2 tone, you may want to consider wrapping it so you won't ruin you're OEM paint and that would also make it easier to reverse in the future.

as far as two toned cars go, it looks pretty good I guess. That said, I have never, ever, enjoyed 2-toned cars (I can't even stand the R8). I would go with what aRYip said.

The answer is actually quite simple.

1. Sell your wheels, buy nicer ones with the same color combo (19 inch Work Meister S1's or VS-XX's)
2. Sell your skirt package and pick up a CF skirt package that's a little less aggressive.
3. Buy a CF hatch and a CF hood
4. Then paint your roof a and b pillars and mirrors black

You'll get what you're looking for then.

i think you should also paint the doors, rear quarter, front fender, front and rear bumpers black as well if you're painting the trunk/roof.

I agree with Shinobi, the car simply looks unfinished right now. Honestly, It looks like you ran out of money to paint your body kit. If you are going for the 2 tone look, you need to execute it properly with CF and a proper paint scheme. Just my 2 cents.

Ok after reading everyone's comments so far, I'm still on the fence, here's where I stand.

1. Some of you are saying paint the lip kit the body colour, that's something that I don;t want to do. In all honesty I like it black, I actually think the car looks much better in person than it does in pics.

2. Some of you are saying "save the Money" and buy better rims, the car is already in the body shop, for my guy to do the top half of my car he will charge me next to nothing. So unless I can kind rims for $200 that thought process doesn't work.

3. Some of you are saying get a CF lip kit, that is something that I really don't like. I know you will all probably laugh at me saying this, but I think CF lip kits look extremely cheesy. It's just too much CF.

By all means I'm not putting you guys down, believe me I read all of yours comments and I am definitely taking them into consideration, and I appreciate them!

When it comes to wheels??? YES you are all right! I definitely want to beef them up and get some more aggressive wheels! I'm just not willing to spend $3000 on a set, It's not that I don' have the money, I just don't see myself justifying spending that much on rims.

If the car is already in the body shop, what opinions you need from us?
and no, you don't need to spend $3000 on VOLK or etc, you can spend $1800 on Work like emotion, or Enkei like RPF1 or even $1200 for Rota...

No, you misunderstand, it's not in the body shop as of yet, I'm saying the car is in the body shop, the cost to do what paint the top is nothing.

It's not like I'm in taking it to the body shop specifically to paint the top.

Of course man!! Thanks! but yeah of course I'm going to do whatever I want. I just threw it out there to see how much more I would get flamed if I did it. LOL
It seems like whenever I post pics people say the same thing, your car looks unfinished and your rims are ****

It's not like it affects me, but I think I might just wrap it just to see what it looks like, and If I don't like it Ill go back to the silver.

Maybe this is because whenever you post is same car, same pictures and no change, then of coz, people are going to say the same thing again and again...

I think you get me all wrong, I'm not saying it because I'm offended. I'm saying it because there seems to be a trend, which is fine. I mean I UNDERSTAND, you all want me to change my rims! I get that and all, it doesn't mean I have to jump like a puppy and do it.

And IF i Were to change my rims I would either go with
