my point was that the wheels do not do this car justice.

if i was to go this deep i'd definitely look for a set of NICE wheels.

imo the konig's are just not on the level, playing field, floor, universe, etc.
The wheels are not on the level of a body kit and a paint shop? What level are we talking?

get me?
I buy and sell wheels... what I inquire about and what I buy and sell is irelevant to what I refer to as wheels of an upper echelon.

This forum just tends to always swarm to Volks or Works, which really aren't even close to the best wheels for the money, they're just a name. Am I on Volks? No, because they don't offer custom offsets yet they are still considered a "baller" company.

Just pointing out a fact about the Z forum that is kinda sad. It's really bad when people make fun of the Z guys about it then people like me have to shred them over the internet or in person and explain why people have these opinions about "high end" Japanese wheels.

The car is looking great. Really good choices on the bumpers too btw!!

4DGS you have a good point, though I'm on the Volks too. They are a sick brand 100%, but not a good bang for your buck. I might get PF01's next with R888's, better for track days and a little less bling.

What point are you trying to make?

I don't understand... you cheap out on replica parts and Konig wheels but spend thousands on a paint job.

Perhaps those paint fumes are messing with your head.

Replica parts fit better than the original and 1/4th the price... I don't see a problem here.. If I crack the kit I can afford to buy three more... So in the end.. It looks better and is hella cheaper... You jelly?

Also I didn't cheap out on rims, sorry I didn't get volks or works.. I actually like the look of the Laces.. Why would I buy what you think looks good when it's my car?

I wouldn't run konig if they were free.

My point was that many manufacturers are making high quality,
Interesting wheels (Volk & work are two of many).

If I was plowing thousands into paint and body I'd want something
Special to compliment what will definitely be an outstanding
End result.

That is teh last word from me.

I know 95% of the net agrees w me so no need to beat
A freshly painted dead horse.

I'm not disagreeing with you lol

But when you say "I wouldn't run konig if they were free" it makes me think you're lying.

Konig offers you a sponsorship, to run their wheels. Any wheel you want, for free.

And you say, na and spend 4 grand on Volks?

OP, the wheels will look fine. If you want to please everyone on this forum, send me a message and I'll make you some Volk stickers.

I rarely flame any individual on this forum. If I have offended someone I usually have apologized via PM.

My point in juxtaposing your two contradictory responses was to illustrate just that. The contrast works on so many levels that I am not sure where to begin. It's quite elegant in it's genius, and simplicity. I didn't even have to express an opinion and yet, many people immediately understood my reference.

If I had to sum it up into one simple premise, it would be that without knowing it you seem to be causing a lot of the conflict in this thread by being quick to show disapproval from both sides of the fence.

Once again, you will notice that I haven't expressed an opinion, just an observation.

Ok so you pointed out that I said the Konig lace is prone to cracking and poor cast lines with my early statement in this thread. Did I say Konig was a bad company? No, I actually praised the company in quality if anything.

So really, what are you saying?

so what you're saying you're saying Konig Lace isn't a Konig product? so we shouldn't count that towards the quality of the company? How does this argument even make sense.
