do i need camber kit?
hi everyone, im planning to add some spacers to my Z with stock rims (touring v2), and i dropped 1.5inch on HSD coilovers, if i add 20mm front and 25mm rear, do i need camber kit?

If you lower more than 1 inch, you will need a rear camber kit to bring the rear camber back to OEM specs.
I had nismo S-tune suspension with 0.8" drop, adjusting the OEM rear camber was just enough to bring the camber back into OEM specs.

Get a camber kit front and rear. Highly recommended.
To those who don't think it is needed, seriously, be smart, don't be cheap. The money you save on the camber kit you'll end up spending on tires (depending on how you drive of course).
My long story below, read if you care:
I lowered mine on Eibach pro-kit which is just supposed to be 1 inch front and rear. I got a rear camber kit to go with the springs, Varun warned me about getting the front kit but reading online everyone said the fronts weren't needed so I didn't bother. After the first summer my rears tires were good and my fronts were a bit more bald on the inside half than the outside (expected). After the second summer my front tires were bald on the inside half (completely, fully slick on the inside) and still 80% tread on the outside half (even though the tires looked like they were fairly even when on the car). For the third summer I had to spend 400 on new front tires and finally picked up an SPC front camber kit. I spoke with Scott at Can-Alignment before installing the front kit because I wanted him to align the car and knew that it would be a pain to change the front alignment on the car (the bolt is on the top of the A-arm, hard to get to, and torqued to over 100FT/lbs). He told me to measure the stock arm and when installing the camber kit and to make the kit 5/8" longer than the stock arm. Did as he said and sure enough the front alignment was bang on within OEM spec no need for him to touch the camber (only toe). Took the new summers off for this winter and the new fronts have barely any wear difference between the inside and out. At this rate they should last me 3-4 (maybe 5)summers before hitting the treadwear mark and in my mind tires lasting over 2 summers means the camber-kit pays for itself.

PS: you must roll your rear fender if you choose to put 25mm spacers. Whats your tire size? Mine was 275/35/19 with 20mm spacers. If you want to see how its look like, I can post some pics.

I am not dropped that drastically. I've got Tein basics and I still have lots of room in the rear to drop more and without getting a toe bolt kit my toe in will not get within OEM specifications.

Hey, I just installed 20mm spacers all around for my (touring v2) rims yesterday with Megan coilover about 1.3 drop on the front and 1.5 on the back. I didn't bother to buy camber kit for the front, but for sure the inside front tires will be done in 2-2.5 seasons. Its only 18", so whatever. But you must get camber kit for the rear, very important. Last year, I lower with eibach springs only, without installed camber kit. My rear tires are gone for 2 months. So for my experience, you should better to get rear camber kit.
PS: you must roll your rear fender if you choose to put 25mm spacers. Whats your tire size? Mine was 275/35/19 with 20mm spacers. If you want to see how its look like, I can post some pics.
