Hoping to have the car ready and pending weather, am going to try and get a shakedown on the car. Anyone is welcome to join.

April 6th is a Friday and a holiday (and my birthday!). Don't expect weather like today, but as long as its not raining and at least 10+ out then Ill be going. Should be pretty quiet track.


Cost is $60 if you preregister. Show up around 4:30 until dusk (around 8pm).

My bad, looks like its $70 this year. Oh well, still a decent deal.

All I need is an oil and rotor change at this point. Just hope for decent weather.

 

Looks like the prepay isn't up yet for the evening session. They also have a full day session scheduled on April 6th and the prepay is already up. I have never seen cayuga have a day and evening session on the same date. I hope its not a mistake.

 

I think its just because of the holiday (I assume). I usually register over the phone anyway.

 

If the weather holds then Ill be going this Sunday. $100 for 10am-4pm.

no suspension pieces shipped yet. I could put the brembos on and try the car out? but will orbablly just get the car on jackstands one time to save some time

 

I don't think it will be warm enough still, I don't think Ill go out unless its closer to 20.

Solo DL is a sexy unit. Apparently it works for 2006+ Zs, but not our 03s.

This weather has us all fooled. First CASC event is still nearly 2 months away, and CSCS is even longer. Summer is still a ways away

 

Yea, you're right about the weather. It was a **** off when it lightly snowed last week causing the city to **** salt everywhere again....

Regardless, I am hitting the track on Friday. Weather is supposed to be 13 degrees, and 0 chance of rain. Sounds good to me.
