Who in the area would you trust for V8 swap?

Who in the area would you trust for V8 swap?
My engine is pooched. I am investigating the option of swapping in an LS. My friends all want to do it as a project over the winter in my garage. That's the most likely scenario. but I'm not sure I am willing to put in the time it would take to do this and I don't want to burden my friends unnecessarily. I also lack the skill to get this done myself.
So if it came down to it who in the area do you think would be able to competantly do this sort of thing since I haven't heard of a car yet in this region with a LSX/ T56 swap. Even if it's a backup if we run into problems with one particular issue.
Thanks.

If there is no one local, I would look into shipping it to a shop that has some experience under their belt. Also, what are your goals for doing the swap? Just as an alternative to another VQ, or do you have specific plans for the Z in the future - track, drag, streetricer, etc.

Its a dirty track car that requires MOAR POWAR!
I think V8 is the way to go. I would hate to see you drop in another VQ (which is still a pain in the ***) and have issues with it next year.
APH would probably do it, but I imagine it would be a first time for them. Winter is a long time man and you have a big garage

Contact Scott at Can-Alignment. His main focus is alignments, his business is wide-spread and ranges from roll cages to hot rods to full race car builds. He did my SR20DET swap.
Try Vic at Simone Performance. I wouldn't hesitate to let Vic work on my car.
Mark at Marken Performance. He's done a lot of unique work and some great V8 experience.
Adam at Ontario Race Fabrication put a LS into his 240sx. I haven't had him do any work but he's been around quite a while.

Yup I blew it.
When I left there was only the oil pressure light that was up but no codes at all. I decided to go back home because the engine loss quite a lot of power on my last cooldown lap .
the engine Oil went up to 145C !!! that 293F
Since I have 2 oil coolers the Oil temp on the 370z is taken before the oil goes back in the engine ... so at the Exit it must of been about 165C (329F)
that is indeed extremely HOT !!!!!
anyway
I drove back home with a weak engine which died after about 200kms
depending if Nissan is willing to do the warranty repair.
im also looking for a possible swap for a lighter engine
Ive been told to forget the SR20 even if built apparently its too much of work and the power isnt that good for the track.
if I have to spend 10k$ I might as well choose the right engine/tranny this time ! hehe

Sucks Mike.. From my research on this subject, it seems that the LS* swaps are not as straight forward as many think, and there seems to be many hurdles to overcome before you have a motor that will run like "stock".
I know you have likely done your research, but thought I would mention that anyway..
GL bro.

The mechanical side of things can be done in your garage on jack stands if you have basic knowledge and skills. You will need a shop to custom fab an exhaust and possibly help with the throttle cable to the pedal. The big stumbling block for most is the wiring and integration of the GM and VQ ECUs. That is where having a shop that knows what they are doing comes in handy.
