Default Quick question...

Hey guys, I'm new here but i'm a regular in the supra forum. I sold the supra, and now i'm looking into the 350z. I have one question that is very important to me. I havent done too much research on the internals of the VQ but I hear that it isnt too bad if it stay N/A. My question is for the guys who have any kind of forced induction, whether its turbo or S/C. How does the car run with boost, throttle response, timing, powerband, tire traction. Also stuff like the PCV system, do you have to have a catch can or does it simply not give off a lot of vapor? Lastly, how does the 350z drivetrain handle the stress? Is the differential strong enough, is the transmission smooth? Well, I guess it wasnt a quick question, but I would greatly appreciate it if the Forced Induction folks can give me some information. Thanks

Arin

P.S. I better not get flamed for this! j/k

Post this in the F/I forums. You will get a lot more feedback.

You may even want to give gq_626(GReddy TT) or booger(Vortech SC), to name a few, a PM.

97 Supra TT to a 350Z is a good transition imo. I agree, post this in the F/I forum and you might want to pm Phunk, or gq_626, or booger, any of those guys could help you.

yea it is a big transition, but then again the supra is so costly. It seems like you can get a million hp if you want, it just takes a lot of money, but I do regret selling it as well because those damn motors dont blow up! lol
