I would say if you are looking for the quietest shifter and concerned about rattles to go with the RE shifter. Any shifter is pretty much directly hooked into the transmission.
If you can handle the noise you get wiht a new light flywheel and clutch.....shifters shouldnt br that big of a deal.

dwnshift, in your experience, is it normal for an aftermarket shifter to produce a grinding / scratching noise when car is in motion and trying to shift gears (especially first few gears)?
