Default Wing for the Z

Has anyone seen the wing at http://www.jspamerica.com (the one that pops up when you go to the site)

Can you add any wing to the Z or would it have to be a certain kinda/size for the holes etc.

Please note, I'm not looking for opinions on what you think of this wing or what is or is not rice.

Unhappy

Sorry, I just can't picture a Z with a large bolt on carbon Fiber spoiler...it'll remind me too much of Civics and Accords running around creating big time drag...

The new Z is too curvy and sexy for anything like that in my opinion...

yeah it should fit fine....

but also, that is gay as hell, I dont car if you dont wanna hear it, but that thing is fugly.

but I guess your Z is capable of going around at 150mph continually where a wing would be functional. and of course your gonna properly set it up, or just tilt it straight down for MaD DoWnForCe Yo.

Default gimme a whale tail

I still think the only think that would really suit the Z is a 911 whale tail.

Speaking of wings I seen a really sharp looking wing on Mitsubishi 3000GT. It looked alot like the tail end of a B-17
anyone else seen one of these? The mounting brackets went from the rear deck out at 45degree angles to the end of each
wing. And the end of each wing had a panel that looked alot like
the tail of an airplane.

It looked like it was all fiberglass perfectly matching the red paint job. I never seen a factory wing like this. Has anyone else?

Default Hey VQracer

I don't understand why you would want that spoiler. It won't help you in daily driving. You don't seem to drive fast (you make fun of others who drive fast) and you certainly don't race. What do you need it for?!

A B-17? As in the Flying Fortress? I can't picture that somehow.

my guess is he meant F-117 Stealth Fighter where the vertical stabilizers are angled out from the center. Cause as you can see below.... a B-17 tail just looks a bit too old school. :-)

Maybe there's some thought to that F-117 thang....... angle the wing struts so as to not reflect RADAR gun waves.

yeah right........

not to mention that a wing that looks like that, that would be built for this car particularly would be increadibly sick... because technically it is functional. hence not worthless bolt on appearance stuff ,,,, not to mention its there for your trackdays and looks great to boot :P

Are you talking about the stock '99 VR-4 wing?

Take a look at the wings that were on display at SEMA by NISMO and a couple other people. Other interesting MODS too

Default No

Don't you need to be going 150mph plus for a wing to do anything for you?

80mph + for anything significant

experiment.. get a peice of plywood and hold it out the window while going down the road, (someone else drive!) angle it differntly then try putting it back out at 80mph and again at 150
and see what happens
