you got $20k to spend? seriosuly....you'd prolly need the AEBS 4.3L stroker kit, headers, exhaust, intake, plenum, pullies, cams, cats, reflash...and some more i cant think of....300rwhp is a bit out of reach. highest i have seen is around 275 maybe 280rwhp

Ive read some posts about people getting 305rwhp. I dont know if that included the Stroker kit though. Might even be able to get more hp out of that. Dont quote me, Im no expert on hp outputs, just relaying what I heard other people say.

with the 4.3 and the 11.5 pistons and stock heads will lay 430-450 acording to aebs. now your gonna want to do alot more than just a stroker kit.

The stroker kit is BS. If you don't believe me try to call AEBS and get one. Also, they are just re-badging JUN parts from Japan. On top of that no one makes a head gasket for the kit either.

minus the parts you have, I'm guessing you'll be in the $7700 area to have those parts and get them all installed

My mods are similar...

My accelleration curve is higher as if I was putting down 340-350rwhp, but I'm gonna guess my peak rwhp is about 285 at the wheels, maaaaybe 290 if i'm lucky.

I haven't found a place to dyno at yet.

I'm not sure what my quarter mile would be. Probably low 13's or really high 12's if I ever got good

I like the tilton but am still not quite used to it. It is noisy at times. It's really jumpy. If you're driving really slow and you go over a bump, it gets really bumpy cause just the slightest jerk on your foot will rev it up and back down really quick - possibly stall if you don't keep it high enough. It's great by the time you're going. I still feel a little on edge driving around town and I've had it about 3 weeks now. I kinda wished I paid the extra for the ATS or exedy so it'd be more stock feeling and handle more horsepower, and also last longer...

Make sure you get some big stickier tires - that's my next purchase - with the 3.9 final drive and tilton, I spin wheels in 1st very easily.

Mike Edens (mjedens) has already exceeded 300rwhp, without a stroker... search for his posts.

Call AEBS and ask them about their stroker kit. They would know more than anyone.....

And yes, it should be completely feasable to hit that mark without a stroker kit, it will probably involve head work and some tuning..... and possibly higher compression....

No need for higher compression.

Just PM mjedens, he can give you all the details.

Full exhuast, Intake, reflashed ecu, and cams should get you to 300whp.

uhmm..the AEBS stroker has nothing in common...not a single part, with the JUN kit

And no it wont cost $15k or anywhere close to that to net these results. It's not about bolting on a bunch of parts and calling it a day - you need a combo if parts that will compliment each other. This is where most people go wrong and simply buy the bolt ons that they see giving the highest individual dyno gains. Start doing some searching on what makes this motor tick and you'll get the power levels you are craving

Also need to determine for yourself if you want to do it solely with parts, or with a combo of parts and custom work (ala head work etc)
